Moving Memories

English

Walt Disney once said that animation offers a medium of storytelling and visual entertainment that can bring pleasure and information to people of all ages everywhere in the world.
For four friends who met at the Animation Department of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan, Armenia, animation is more than just an occupation – it’s a dream come true.

After three years of studying together they co-founded Yelling Animation Studio, which became Tumo’s first animation start-up. By the end of April 2015 they completed their debut work: two episodes dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

100 LIVES is happy to share these touching stories. Watch them and you’ll never think of animation as “just for kids” again.
